Gameplay is simple. Mouse and space bar. Maybe give the option to use the pulse with a mouse button, for one-handed gameplay.
I suggest increasing the spawn rate of the cylinders that charge the pulse. Using the pulse more often would increase the excitement and 'fun factor'.
Art is nice. I like how the statues start spawning on the 2nd time you play. Maybe if you kept adding different things after each run...would increase replay value. I liked the Settings menu. Not bad for a game jam project!
